Our owner, Scott Specker, loves running a business that he can provide high quality customer service through. He is proud to deliver excellent painting services to Suwanee, Alpharetta and the surrounding areas.
He believes that people should be happy to come to work, as this translate to a wonderful customer experience and product. That is why he strives to build an environment that his workers enjoy and a mission they are committed to.
Scott - Owner
Scott is the owner of the franchise and oversees the day-to-day operations. He brings with him 18 years of client service experience working with Fortune 500 companies. When he is not working he is on a lacrosse field coaching his son or trying to catch a trout in a North Georgia stream.
Scott has lived in Northeast Atlanta for 11 years. For many of those years, he commuted downtown for a corporate job. It became difficult for him personally and for his family for him to be traveling so frequently. Scott decided to pursue something different and began his journey with Five Star Painting. Scott’s goal is to serve our local clients with excellence, providing a white-collar experience in a blue-collar industry.
Sharon - Finance Manager
Sharon has over 20 years of customer service experience and oversees the financial aspects of the business. She also handles escalation and the behind the scenes operations including product fulfillment. Her passion is her family and three active boys and her baby Bayleigh. She was once a fierce ALTA player until her husband bought her a job.
Kristen - Project Manager
Kristen is our longest running employee and most experienced project manager. She has managed over 1,000 projects and met over 650 customers in the last 3 years. She is highly knowledgeable and has a passion for the home improvement business. When she is not working she enjoys time with her husband and two grown children.
Barry - Estimator & Advisor
Barry is truly our ‘senior’ estimator and an advisor to our business, bringing over 30 years of business experience with him. He was a past customer that had an immediate connection to our business and owner. Retirement needs to be on hold for Barry as he fills his part time calendar with estimates. He has sold over $500k worth of painting projects in the area.
Mary Jo - Project Manager/ Scheduler
Mary Jo comes to us with 10 years of retail customer service experience. She has dual roles with us in scheduling and managing projects. Her attention to detail is what customers appreciate about her management style. When not working she enjoys scrapbooking and being a mom to her 3 college-age children and husband John of 25 years.
Matt - Project Manager / Estimator
After 10 years managing in the restaurant industry, Matt is bringing his attention to detail and management skills to the painting industry. He and his wife are expecting their 2nd child in September. When he is not working he is enjoying his family.
