Meet the Durham Team
We at Five Star Painting of Durham & Chapel Hill and Five Star Painting of Raleigh & Wake Forest, have been servicing the greater Raleigh market for the past 7 years, supplying over 2500 satisfied customers and work hard at providing Five Star Quality Without The Five Star Price. Our services include residential and light commercial interior, exterior, and cabinet painting projects. We also provide drywall repair and wood rot repair and replacement on any painting project we are asked to service. We want to assure each customer that all members of our team are focused on time, budget, and customer service.
Robin Green – Co-owner
Since 2010, Robin has shared ownership of the Five Star Painting Raleigh Durham Triangle Market with his son Taylor. Tanner, Robin’s other son, owns and runs the Five Star Painting Wilmington Market. Robin has over forty years of experience in the building industry which allows him to provide customers with information not only on painting needs but insight into a number of home improvement projects. Robin lives with his wife of over forty-four years, Kay, a nurse at Duke.
Taylor Green –
Co-owner
Taylor shares ownership with his father, Robin. Taylor has been working in the home improvement industry for over twenty-five years. His experience and dedication bring a level of assurance to our customers that other painting company just can’t provide. Taylor has three teenage children, two sons, and a daughter, and lives in Cary with Tyra, a residential property manager.
Ann Chellman – Office Manager
Ann has been working for Robin for over seventeen years as an office manager, bookkeeper, and marketing support person. She has been our bookkeeper for the past seven years. Ann is someone that our team counts on in a number of ways to help manage our day to day business. Ann lives in Clayton, NC with her fourteen-year-old daughter, Lydia Rose and their dog, Cooper, who loves to come to work at the office.
A.J. Motsinger – Sales Manager
A.J. has enjoyed working in the home improvement industry and joined the Five Star team in May 2018. With a passion for building relationships, A.J. is committed to providing his clients with the highest quality customer service. He resides in Durham with his wife, Sarah, and two children, Lilly and Jack.
Pablo Gonzalez – Paint Foreman
Pablo has been a painting crew foreman, running his two crews for Five Star Painting since the business was started in 2010. Pablo and his crew work on interior, exterior, and cabinet painting projects. Pablo also services our customers on drywall repair, and wood rot repair and replacement. Pablo lives in Durham with his wife Cristiana and their four children ages 12,10, 6 and 3.
Elmer Castello – Paint Foreman
Elmer has been running his crew for Five Star Painting for over four years. He specializes in both interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, and wood rot repair and replacement. Elmer lives in Durham with his wife, Shona, and two-year-old son.
Frederico Esquivel – Paint Foreman
Frederico operates his two crews for Five Star Painting and has been a member of our team for two years. Federico specializes in both interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, and wood rot repair and replacement. Federico lives in Willow Springs with his wife, Tricia, and three children.
Martin – Paint Foreman
Martin has been running his crew for Five Star Painting for over three years. Martin specials in interior and exterior painting and drywall repair. Martin lives in Raleigh with his wife and 2 children.
