We had a fantastic experience with Five Star Painting. From start to finish, the entire team was professional, punctual, and incredibly easy to work with. They showed up on time every day, kept the work area clean, and communicated clearly throughout the project. In addition to the exterior painting, they handled a few repairs, and everything was completed exactly as promised—no surprises, no shortcuts. The attention to detail really stood out, and the final result exceeded our expectations. It’s not always easy to find contractors who do what they say they’ll do, but this team absolutely delivered. We’re extremely happy with how everything turned out and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for quality work and a smooth, stress-free experience.

I hired five star to repaint my cabinets. They were in pretty sad shape after being painted sometime in the past in a not-so-great way, and I was desperate to get them redone. From start to finish, Brian and is team were great to work wtih. They worked with my schedule to make it as easy as possible, and the did the actual work quickly and professionally. The painters were courteous and professional, and they did everything they could to minimize disruption to my house and to keep the fumes from the painting contained, despite being essentially part of a huge great room. The final product was fantastic. The cabinets really pop, and there were absolutely no issues on the walk through. I highly recommend these guys!

In most cases, cabinet painting or kitchen cabinet refinishing is the better route when cabinets are still solid. Painting kitchen cabinets saves money, takes less time, and delivers a fresh, updated look. Cabinet painting in Aurora is ideal for cabinets that work well but look outdated. A kitchen cabinet painter uses premium cabinet paint and thorough prep to achieve a durable, smooth finish. If cabinets are damaged or poorly built, cabinet replacement or kitchen cabinet refacing may be the better choice. Problems like water damage or warped frames often need more work. The right choice depends on your goals and budget. A trusted pro can suggest cabinet painting, cabinet refinishing, or cabinet refacing for long-lasting results.
-
Cabinet painting generally takes 3 to 5 days depending on cabinet size and prep requirements. Smaller projects take 1 to 2 days, while larger kitchen cabinet painting jobs may take up to a week. In Aurora, prep work includes degreasing, sanding, masking, and removing hardware before priming and applying cabinet paint. Cabinet refinishing or cabinet refacing may take extra time, especially when fixing damage or using special finishes. Proper curing helps the finish last. A professional kitchen cabinet painter helps keep timelines and quality on track. Five Star Painting ensures smart scheduling and attention to detail throughout the project.
-
Cabinets need more than standard wall paint. Five Star Painting uses premium cabinet paint chosen for your materials, ensuring strong adhesion, lasting durability, and a smooth finish. For most kitchen cabinets, we suggest semi-gloss or satin finishes. They offer the best mix of durability and good looks. A specialty bonding primer is part of every project, no matter the paint chosen. It helps the finish stick well and hold up to daily use. Interested in cabinet refacing or refinishing?
