  • Thermostat.

When Is It Too Cold to Paint The Exterior of Your House? (And Ideal Conditions)

Knowing the right temperature range for painting the exterior of your house is critical. If you start your project in temps outside this range, you risk premature paint failure and a tragic waste of time and money.

How Long Can You Keep Paint Before It Goes Bad?

We’ve all been there—a painting project doesn’t use up all the paint you bought, and now it’s time to hammer the lid back on and take it to the garage or basement storage area. That paint will go bad in two to fifteen years. That’s such a big range, so how do you determine when it’ll be spent? Examine the type of paint and storage conditions to estimate shelf life. We’ll walk you through it.

How to Clean Your Painted Kitchen Cabinets

Cleaning painted cabinets isn't just about wiping last night’s sauce splatter off. It's about removing the buildup that settles over time that stems from cooking, baking, and everyday handling of your painted kitchen cabinets. Safely removing this buildup can become more difficult, especially when harsher cleaning materials can damage the paint on your cabinets.
