Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Phil & team are awesome! Highly recommend!
-
Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
Phil and his crew were not only punctual, efficient, and thorough; they also ensured that we were happy with the finished product as well as touched up issues with the interior that we, the owners, hadn’t even noticed. We are more than satisfied with the results. Every wall they worked on looks brand new, and the texture correction on our ceiling looks fantastic. Furthermore, we appreciated Phil’s talking us through the process and making sure we were given full transparency on anything we weren’t sure of prior to the painting. Thanks so much! We’ll be sure to book with Five Star for any future painting needs.

Phil and his team at FIVE STAR were the absolute Best! From the start with the assessment, to the quote, Phil was thorough and educated me. His quote came in the middle of the other quotes given. But I was confident with my choice of selecting him because of the knowledge he had of various aspects of our old house. From the wood shutters, to the leaders, to helping me choose the right colors, to replacing my window box brackets and so much more! I was extremely happy with everything. Phil came back to caulk something I had not seen prior to the project and other little details to leave our house looking like new. His team were prompt, respectful and cleaned up every single day. He was patient and spent a lot of time helping me make final decisions throughout. I highly recommend them!!

Great company to work with, we called Phil for an estimate on painting siding that had to be replaced and the manufacturer for the original color was no longer in business. He matched the original color to the exact sample. Very happy to have worked with Phil and the team at Five Star Painting!!!

Five Star Painting was incredibly accommodating to my schedule and were able to squeeze me in between their other jobs in order to meet my deadline. They are very neat and courteous and did a great job painting the ceilings and bathroom. Phil is a pleasure to work with. Will absolutely use them again for future painting projects. Highly recommend!

We had a small bathroom being renovated that needed painting. They showed up on time, did all of the necessary prep work, and finished the walls, ceiling, and trim all in one day. They cleaned up and the owner did a thorough inspection of the work that was done. Highly recommend!

Cracking, peeling, or bubbling paint on any interior or exterior surface typically means it’s time to repaint. Fading colors and uneven finishes are also signs that professional painting is needed. Damaged paint can expose surfaces to moisture, leading to wood rot, mold, and structural problems over time. Staining, water marks, or chalking on painted surfaces suggest the finish is failing and professional painting services are needed. Interior surfaces typically need repainting every 5 to 10 years, and exterior surfaces every 5 to 7 years. If your property is near or past these timelines, a free painting estimate can help decide when to repaint. Wondering if it’s time to repaint? Contact Five Star Painting in Short Hills today. We will evaluate your surfaces and provide a free no-obligation quote.
