I am posting this review more than one year after they painted to offer a fair and unbiased review of their service. A family member recommended Dave and his team to paint our new place. Within a few days I was contacted and seen by Dave. He came to our place to offer a quote and various options within our budget. He provided fair and competitive prices and was able to match the paint colours. His team did a fantastic job painting and was able to reach high ceiling areas that would otherwise not be possible for myself. After over a year later I am happy to say the paint job is holding up. There are no outstanding issues and looks as if it was painted yesterday. Dave and his team have gone above and beyond. I would highly recommend Five Star Painting and will be using them in the future.

David and Gilbert were very professional and efficient. Gilbert was very polite and respectful and clearly takes pride in the work he does.

I am very pleased with the painting done in my livingroom. It was very tired and dull with awful trim but it is fresh, clean and calming now. David was very quick in response to my inquiry and professionally provided me with the quote including verification of insurance etc. Nail holes and plaster imperfections were repaired. Times of availability were communicated and paint finish recommendations were appreciated. I would definitely have Five Star back for myself and will recommend them highly.

Dave was a true professional. We hired him during a stressful time. He gave us detailed updates regarding his work and timing and was very pleasant to deal with. His work was great and the place looked like a new place after he finished - quality painting. He also filled lots of holes, made a few little repairs - so he is handy too! Excellent painters, exceptional service.

I had Dave come in to paint my condo while I was on vacation. From the onset, he was professional and really helped to explain the choices I had available and types of paint he’d be using. He always made himself available, helped me to choose colours and left my place very clean when I returned. He takes pride in his craft and he’s an overall pleasure to work with, I would definitely recommend his services!

Dave and his team did an amazing job painting our house that was to go on the market any day. After his team finished painting someone walked off the street and asked "How much for your beautiful house?" you can tell the quality was there. Very professional work and very accommodating would hire again.

Dave was very courteous, friendly, and responsive during the quote process. I had contacted a painting company in my neighbourhood twice, and never even got a response. It was so refreshing to deal with Dave. His quote for painting my front porch was very reasonable. I had been concerned that it was getting colder, which could limit being able to do exterior painting, so Dave did his best to fit my job in. He dropped by on a Saturday to powerwash the porch, and sent a photo of his Sherwin-Williams paint chips beside my downspout that I wanted him to match. He suggested the closest one, and I agreed. He was back on Monday and did a nice tidy job! In between coats, he looked at some interior painting I needed. I highly recommend Dave for the quality of his work and professionalism.
