Exterior of home needed an overhaul. Painting the concrete foundation to match the new siding color turned out to be a great suggestion. The rusted gray steel framed porch windows also got new white paint. Love the new look! The team was very careful taping the glass, also I have found no drips on the surrounding areas!!

We had a wonderful experience with Five Star Painting of SW Minneapolis. Their thoughtful customer service, professionalism, and genuine care were evident throughout the entire process. When a bedroom remodel fell behind schedule and the walls weren’t finished in time for painting, the Five Star crew stepped in to complete the mudding and sanding themselves. Thanks to their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond, the painting was completed in time for our move-in date. Their experience truly shines through, not only in the beautiful finished work, but also in the way they treat their customers. Wonderful people and a company we would highly recommend!

Gus and Katherine are professional, prompt, responsive and courteous. I was thrilled to work with them. They are a breath of fresh air and have great people skills. They are also patient because they had to put up with all my little questions which in the end didn’t really matter 🫢 Ultimately, they did a fantastic job on our exterior house painting project. I will hire them again. They made everything look beautiful. Katherine and Gus are top notch and I wish them all the best!

I had some walls Sheet-rocked, tape, mud, sanding and painting done. They tore down my ceiling, put new insulation in, sheet-rocked, taped, mud, sanded and painted. These guys drove all the way up to Hinckley to help me! They were very professional, organized and on time to the job every day. Gus communicated things with me and constantly and kept me informed of what they were doing throughout the process. It took three days to do the entire job and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. I would definitely recommend these guys to do any job you need done! Call them, lol!!!!

Gus and the crew were great from the beginning to the end of the project. Very reasonably priced including the carpentry work that needed to be done. They were very professional throughout all phases of my exterior painting project and exceeded expectations. And they did an excellent job of cleanup at the end. I highly recommend them.

Five Star Painting of SW Minneapolis painted our house and detached garage of cedar shakes using a sprayer. They also painted our foundation bricks and cement blocks. Before the actual painting there was power washing, scraping, and filling of woodpecker holes (in some cases replacing a shake) and of course masking of windows and trim. They were thorough, neat, and picked up after themselves. I didn't see anything they missed! I definitely would recommend this company for your painting needs!

Your property may need painting if you notice peeling, cracking, or bubbling paint. Fading colors and discoloration, especially outdoors, are common signs that it’s time to call a painting professional. When paint fails, surfaces are left vulnerable to moisture damage and mold. If you spot chalking, water stains, or discoloration on painted surfaces, scheduling professional painting can help protect your property. As a general rule, interior paint holds up for 5 to 10 years and exterior paint for 5 to 7 years. If your property is approaching or past these timelines, our expert interior or exterior painters can help transform your home. Contact Five Star Painting in Linden Hills for a free review of your property’s painting needs. We will assess your surfaces and recommend the best next steps.

Before any paint is applied, a professional painting company must properly prepare surfaces. Five Star Painting sand, patch, prime, and caulk all surfaces to ensure a clean, smooth base that helps your new paint look great and last longer. Protecting your home is a key part of our preparation process. Our trained service professionals mask off trim, cover furniture with drop cloths, and protect floors and fixtures so your property stays clean throughout the project. The specific preparation needed depends on the condition of your surfaces. Older surfaces may require additional sanding, scraping, or repair work, while newer surfaces may need only light prep. We will outline the full scope of preparation during your free walkthrough. Let Five Star Painting in Linden Hills handle the preparation and painting for your next project. For exterior projects, weather plays a role in scheduling. Five Star Painting monitors conditions carefully and plans exterior work during favorable weather for the best possible results. Proper application helps prevent cracking, peeling, and premature breakdown. A professional painting service ensures each phase is done right. Our painters handle surface prep, drywall repair when needed, priming, and precise application for smooth, even results. Their expertise also helps with choosing the right materials. Whether picking exterior paints suited for local conditions or interior finishes that balance durability and looks, professionals help guide the process. Hiring painting contractors saves time and reduces the effort required. With efficient workflows and proper tools, they complete projects cleanly and on schedule.
