“I was quite unhappy with the overall experience. We were told there would be a 2-man crew (or possibly 3) There was one. We were told that it should take four days. It took five. This was very important to us, as was conveyed when we signed the contract. The overall paint job looks to professionally done. There are a few spots of paint on our brand new floors. We were told the floors would be covered. The floors were covered in major spots, but not completely (the drips seem to be close to the walls.) I find it hard to believe that there is more than one coat of paint in one of the rooms. Either that, or perhaps the paint was not dry when the second coat was applied. You cannot even hold something up to the wall (ie a picture to judge where to hang it) without the paint scratching away. I am unsure if the doorways were sanded, as the paint is actually peeling away in a couple of spots. I understand that we are entitled to one return visit for touch-ups. I do not”

“I was very impressed with Mike Otani's presentation when he came to give me an estimate. Very knowledgeable, helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help me out i.e. recommended a contractor he worked with for my bathroom renos. His painting crew was punctual, did good repairs to the various cracks in the walls, relatively neat. The foreman was always willing to accommodate my requests, especially to do touch up after the job was completed. Some parts were missed completely, cleanup on white trim in several places, behind the stove was a mess and did not remove the empty paint cans. The garbage was taken away by the contractors and the paint cans were taken by Mike, even my old paint cans, for which I was very thankful. Betty Kagayama”
