Exterior of home needed an overhaul. Painting the concrete foundation to match the new siding color turned out to be a great suggestion. The rusted gray steel framed porch windows also got new white paint. Love the new look! The team was very careful taping the glass, also I have found no drips on the surrounding areas!!

We had a wonderful experience with Five Star Painting of SW Minneapolis. Their thoughtful customer service, professionalism, and genuine care were evident throughout the entire process. When a bedroom remodel fell behind schedule and the walls weren’t finished in time for painting, the Five Star crew stepped in to complete the mudding and sanding themselves. Thanks to their flexibility and willingness to go above and beyond, the painting was completed in time for our move-in date. Their experience truly shines through, not only in the beautiful finished work, but also in the way they treat their customers. Wonderful people and a company we would highly recommend!

Gus and Katherine are professional, prompt, responsive and courteous. I was thrilled to work with them. They are a breath of fresh air and have great people skills. They are also patient because they had to put up with all my little questions which in the end didn’t really matter 🫢 Ultimately, they did a fantastic job on our exterior house painting project. I will hire them again. They made everything look beautiful. Katherine and Gus are top notch and I wish them all the best!

I had some walls Sheet-rocked, tape, mud, sanding and painting done. They tore down my ceiling, put new insulation in, sheet-rocked, taped, mud, sanded and painted. These guys drove all the way up to Hinckley to help me! They were very professional, organized and on time to the job every day. Gus communicated things with me and constantly and kept me informed of what they were doing throughout the process. It took three days to do the entire job and I couldn’t be happier with the way it turned out. I would definitely recommend these guys to do any job you need done! Call them, lol!!!!

Gus and the crew were great from the beginning to the end of the project. Very reasonably priced including the carpentry work that needed to be done. They were very professional throughout all phases of my exterior painting project and exceeded expectations. And they did an excellent job of cleanup at the end. I highly recommend them.

Five Star Painting of SW Minneapolis painted our house and detached garage of cedar shakes using a sprayer. They also painted our foundation bricks and cement blocks. Before the actual painting there was power washing, scraping, and filling of woodpecker holes (in some cases replacing a shake) and of course masking of windows and trim. They were thorough, neat, and picked up after themselves. I didn't see anything they missed! I definitely would recommend this company for your painting needs!

When cabinet boxes and doors are in good shape, kitchen cabinet refinishing is usually the best option. Painting kitchen cabinets costs less than replacement, takes less time, and delivers a major visual upgrade. Cabinet painting in Eden Prairie is ideal when cabinets still work well but look outdated. A kitchen cabinet painter uses proper prep and quality cabinet paint for a smooth, durable finish. If cabinets are damaged or no longer working, cabinet replacement or kitchen cabinet refacing may be needed. Structural issues go beyond what painting can fix. The right choice depends on your goals and budget. A trusted local pro can suggest cabinet painting, cabinet refinishing, or cabinet refacing for lasting results.
-
Cabinet painting projects are usually completed within 3 to 5 days, depending on project scope and prep work. Smaller vanities may take 1 to 2 days, while larger kitchen cabinet painting jobs can take up to a week. In Eden Prairie, prep steps include sanding, degreasing, masking, and removing hardware before priming and applying cabinet paint. Cabinet refinishing or cabinet refacing may take extra time when repairs or special finishes are involved. Proper curing is essential. An experienced kitchen cabinet painter helps keep things on schedule. Five Star Painting ensures clear updates and quality work.

Cabinet surfaces need the right products to perform well. Five Star Painting uses premium paints chosen for your cabinet materials, ensuring strong adhesion, lasting durability, and a finish that looks great for years. We usually recommend semi-gloss or satin for cabinets. Both are easy to clean, look great, and hold up well over time. The process starts with bonding primers, applied before any cabinet paint touches the surface, to create a strong base for a finish that lasts. Let our knowledgeable team help you navigate your paint and finish options with confidence. Call to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate.
